Marifel “Mune” Bermudez

Marifel is a DMV native.

She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Towson University. Soon after, she began her freelance career as a muralist and fiber artist in Washington, D.C., under the name Mune Studios.

Through her public art practice, Marifel expanded into the tattoo industry. She apprenticed under Dr. Z at Cry Baby Studios. As she grows through her art career, Marifel refers to herself as Mune (Mo-on) in connection with her art.

Marifel enjoys tattooing traditional blackwork, celestial and magical elements, bold ornaments, textures/woodcut styles, and realism.
